1) Keep your eye on time and your scores.
As you know, IELTS speaking has three parts:
Introduction, Cue card and Discussion Round.
Firstly, let’s discuss the part 1 that is introduction part. This part generally lasts between 4_5 minutes. The examiner will ask you some general questions based on your life, your likes or dislikes and more. So be straightforward with the answers. Try to complete your answer briefly. For Example, the examiner might ask, “Do you think reading a magazine can help you learn a language?”

Part-2: Cue topic

Some common topics for cue card:
_A place you visited on vacation
_ Describe your favourite movie
_A rule that has implemented in your country

Part-3: Discussion Round
This part generally contains 5_6 minutes. The conversation could be based on any topic. Express yourself with some real life experiences to look unique and more genuine.

2) Fluency and vocabulary

You can be ready for the IELTS speaking exam with immense dedication and practice. It is recommended to be fluent during the exam rather than thinking or worrying about using the best Vocabulary. It will create a good impression on the examiner, if you are speaking fluently.
3) Avoid monotonous speaking
Be natural when you speak to keep the listener engaged. Bring speech modulations in your tone at several points to sound more fluent and interesting. Boring speech and sound less fluent.
4) Don’t panic in case you make mistakes
Yes! It’s a completely acceptable even when you make a mistake while speaking. Errors tend to happen if you are talking too quickly or uttering a wrong word accidentally, so don’t panic if such circumstances occur.
Practice the IELTS speaking test with an instructor or friend; it will help you assist better.
If you are quick to correct your mistake, go for it. This will indicate that how conscious you are what you speak. However, if you don’t know how to correct mistakes, don’t worry, just move on.

When you don’t understand something, be honest to respond, “I’m sorry, but could you please elaborate on what you mean?” Instead of answering the wrong answer.
Try your best to use advanced Vocabulary to express your thoughts. Don’t do the Repitition of words and phrases in a sentence. Maintain proper Grammatical accuracy. If the examiner asks,” How was your experience?” Your answer should be “It was good” NOT “It is good”.
