Majority of the IELTS aspirants are more worried about the speaking because it is a face to face conversation with examiner which need immense strength and self confidence.

To help you out, here are some helpful tips to remember:

Do you get nervous while attempting the question?

With the speaking section, it is extremely significant to be fluent.

Even if you are confused or Nervous, it’s suggested to overcome this and don’t pretend it to the grader.

Keep your mind calm and check on diction.

If you don’t have fancy Vocabulary, it doesn’t make a huge difference. One of the things that is noted cautiously is that you don’t take pauses frequently. Also, keep a check on your diction and don’t speak too fast which is unclear to the examiner.

Be Clear with your words.

Have trouble in finding mistakes?

When you are preparing or working alone, understand the whole context, by this you get much intimidating. And you may feel overwhelmed with the amount of preparation you need to do.

Take assistance from the Internet

On the internet, you find plethora of practice tests and sample tests for IELTS speaking materials. You can simply choose a topic from the speaking sample question paper and try speaking on it. And then, you can try to discover your errors and come up with a plan to curtail the same.

Lack of self confidence during the speech?

Also, you can also ask for extra time to think it over by saying like ” Let me think for a moment”, “Give me a second to think “, “I’ve never thought about it, give me few seconds for thinking “.

When attempting the answer, you must have a good choice of words cautiously. It is recommended not to finish the entire speech in one sentence. You can bring expressions and emotions whenever adequate. You can try talking like a native _English speaker.

When practicing for the Speaking test, don’t memorise your answers. Try to make your answer more impressive and natural and be innovative according to your own experience. From your way of talking, the examiner can figure out whether you are spontaneous or not. Also, when talking, don’t panic.
