ASCERTAIN – To find something out
Sentence – I’m going to ascertain the culprit.

RELEASE – To allow somebody/something to be free.
Sentence – She’s been released from the prison.

OPPOSE – To disagree with somebody’s beliefs, actions or plans and to try to change or stop them.
Sentence – He strongly opposed the League of Nations.

RETAIN – To keep or continue to have something
Sentence – Her only hope was to retain his friendship.

OMIT – To not include something; to leave something out
Sentence – If there is a part that feels unnatural, omit or edit it.

FABRICATE – To invent or produce something false in order to deceive someone
Sentence – They plan to fabricate a shopping complex next year.

SAVOURY – Not sweet
Sentence – I don’t prefer savoury fruits.

STALE – Not fresh, dry, hardened
Sentence – The fruits will go stale if don’t put it away.

CRUNCHY – Crisp, firm and making loud noise when eaten.
Sentence – The snacks we had at her home were very crunchy.

SOGGY – Too soft because of liquid.
Sentence – The bread crunch got soggy when kept for the long time in the soup.

RETICENT – Not wanting to tell people about things
Sentence – Her all friends are extremely reticent.

EMBRACE – to put your arms around somebody
Sentence – She was about to embrace her child.

SPINSTER – A woman, especially an older woman, who has never been married
Sentence – The spinster in this house sell the fresh flowers in the early morning.

WRING – To press and squeeze something in order to remove water from it
Sentence – Wring the sponge into the pulp tub as you go.

CRUMPLE – To press something into an untidy shape
Sentence – He crumpled the every page of the notebook.

FAUCET – A tap.
Sentence – We should buy new faucet for our washrooms.

CHICKEN-HEARTED – Easily frightened, Cowardly
Sentence – My elder brother is still chicken hearted.

WILFUL – Doing exactly what you want, no matter what other people think or say.
Sentence – I can consider my maternal’s are wilful person.

MOOT – Not worth considering as it is not likely to happen
Sentence – The scheme was initially mooted last October.

SUPPRESS – To stop something by using force
Sentence – She should not suppress the truth in the court.
