Do you like meeting new people?

Well, being an extrovert, I do like to meet new people.  It is my strong belief that meeting new people fosters personal development and helps to learn new things.

How do you feel when people welcome you?

Obviously, elated. A warm and sincere welcome always feels great and makes you feel important to other people. Also, it represents the warmth and relationship that you share with a person.

Do you often meet new people?

As I am a sales manager, it’s my job to meet new people and converse with them. Every individual that I meet makes me learn a thing or two about my work and helps me upskill myself.

Can you tell if you like someone when you meet them for the first time? Why?

Oh, yes. I think I can. Not to sound too judgemental, but sometimes I can just develop a strong dislike for a person as I don’t get the positive vibes that I anticipate.

Do you recycle? Why?

Yes. I do recycle a lot of things. I perceive it to be a very effective method to reduce waste generation and to manage it effectively. So, I believe it really fosters saving of resources and protects our environment.

IELTS Speaking Test

Did you recycle when you were a kid?

Oh, being born in a typical Indian joint family, I have been taught to recycle stuff in many ways, some of which are both funny and atrocious. For instance, we used to recycle our old clothes and use them as a spare to mop our house flooring and clean the walls and furniture.

Will you recycle in the future?

I would definitely answer that in affirmation. We have even started segregating the waste material generated in our house and sending the dry waste for recycling. In this way, I definitely intend to continue doing this in future as well.

Oh, I am a big fan of best from waste. I and my mother are very fond of crafts. As a result, we often recycle old papers, plastics, cloth and other dry waste to create interesting craft pieces from them.

A few months ago, I had to lend my laptop to a close friend of mine, which I had mixed feelings One recent development in my country is the expansion of the public transportation network, particularly the introduction of new metro lines in major cities. The project has been in progress for the past few years, with the most recent line completed just last year, and others still under construction.

I feel quite positive about this development. It not only makes daily commuting more convenient and efficient for millions of people but also helps in reducing traffic congestion, which has been a long-standing issue in our cities. The metro system provides an affordable, fast, and environmentally friendly alternative to cars and buses.

IELTS Speaking Test

The benefits to my country are numerous. First, it promotes economic growth by improving accessibility to business areas, which can encourage investment. Second, it reduces pollution levels, which is critical given the environmental challenges we face. Finally, it helps improve the quality of life for citizens, providing them with a faster, safer, and more reliable means of transportation.

Overall, this development is an important step towards building a more sustainable and efficient urban infrastructure for the future.

IELTS Speaking Test

What kind of transportation is most common in your country?

In my country, buses are probably the most common form of public transportation, especially in smaller towns. However, in larger cities, people rely on a mix of buses, taxis, and increasingly, the metro systems.

Do you think transportation infrastructure will improve in the future?

Yes, I believe that transportation infrastructure will continue to improve. With the growing emphasis on sustainability and green technologies, we are likely to see more developments like electric buses, bike-sharing schemes, and further metro expansions.

How do you feel about the traffic situation in your city?

Traffic can be a real challenge, especially during peak hours. It’s frustrating and time-consuming, but with the development of the metro and more investments in public transportation, I hope things will improve over time.
