SAMPLE ANSWER
One English language book that I used extensively was “English Grammar in Use“ by Raymond Murphy. I bought this book because I wanted to improve my understanding of English grammar, especially because I had encountered some difficulties with sentence structure and tenses in both speaking and writing.
The book is highly recommended for learners at an intermediate level, and it was exactly what I needed to strengthen my grammatical knowledge. What I learned from using it was how to use different tenses correctly, the proper structure for conditional sentences, and how to avoid common mistakes with articles, prepositions, and word order. It helped me gain confidence in applying grammar rules in real conversations and writing tasks.

In terms of difficulty, the book was fairly easy to use. It’s structured in a way that allows you to learn step by step, with clear explanations, followed by exercises for practice. The exercises made it easier to reinforce what I had learned and test my understanding. There were also answers at the back of the book, which made it easy to check my progress and correct mistakes.
I would definitely use a similar book again in the future, especially if I need to refresh or reinforce my grammar skills. The format of this book is highly effective for self-study, and the clear explanations made it easier for me to understand and apply grammar concepts. Also, the exercises helped me to practice regularly and measure my improvement, which is something I really value in language learning materials.
