PART – 1 INTRO

How many hours do you sleep a day?
Since I work from sun up to sun down, it’s essential for me to get a healthy amount of sleep. I usually go to bed between 10:30 and 11pm and get up between 4:30 and 5am. To be honest, I always set my alarm for 4:30 but I have a habit of pressing the snooze button 2 or 3 times so usually end up getting out of bed closer to 5.

Do you think it is enough? Why?
I think the minimum amount of sleep to be healthy is 6 hours a night. So yes, I do sleep an acceptable amount of hours. But, to be honest, I think it’s unnatural to get up before the sunrise; I think we need natural light. Although I sleep about 6 hours, I still feel sleepy throughout the day. I think getting up at 6 would feel a lot more refreshing.
What do you do to improve sleeping quality?
With all the stressors that I face throughout the day, it’s important to take some deep breaths at the end of the day. I downloaded a meditation app called HeadSpace a few months ago and have started doing some meditation before sleep. Furthermore, I try to avoid looking at my phone at least 30 minutes before bed because it stimulates my mind too much. I truly believe that meditation leads to a much more restful sleep.

Do you like sleeping during the day? Why?
When I take a nap, I tend to keep pressing the snooze button and end up sleeping for at least an hour and a half! Although it feels amazing to escape the heat with an afternoon nap in an air conditioned room, I try to avoid it because I end up feeling more tired afterwards. I think a 30-45 minute nap would be ideal.
Do you think elderly people need more or less sleep than young? Why?
I imagine that an aging body exerts much more energy for simple tasks that seem easy to a young, able body. Furthermore, they may be more sensitive to extreme weather. With this said, I would say that the elderly require more rest. I believe if they have more rest, they can keep healthier and perhaps live a longer life.

Well, visiting tourist attractions is something that I love because I am a travel freak.
Recently, I paid a visit to the Taj Mahal with my family as summer vacations were on, and I cannot express in words how beautiful this place is. Taj Mahal is undoubtedly the world’s most visited place as it is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
It is in the city of Agra, which is approximately 400 kilometres from my hometown, and when we visited there.
I was amazed to see the beauty of this monument. Taj Mahal was actually built by the emperor Shah Jahan in remembrance of her beloved wife, Mumtaz. It is an amazing monument, and it reflects the amazing architecture of the Mughals of that time. It’s a massive building, and if you read about the facts and figures of this building, you would be amazed because even with today’s technology.

The construction of such a building is almost impossible. The entire building is made up of white marble, which looks so beautiful, and with daylight, it changes its color. The best part is that this monument is built on the bank of Yamuna. For that reason, one can also see the reflection of the Taj Mahal in the Yamuna, which makes it even more beautiful, especially in the moonlight.
Well, I visited there with my family, and as expectation, there were thousands of tourists, and most of them were foreign tourists from different countries. Millions of tourists each year visit this place, and it plays a wonderful role in boosting and promoting tourism in the country. Well, we clicked numerous photographs of this monument, and I also took some selfies with the foreigners there, welcomed them and tried to educate them about the history of this place as per my knowledge.
Overall, the visit to this historical monument was just beyond our expectation and I recommend everyone who hasn’t visit Taj Mahal yet, must visit it once in lifetime.

PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
What are the most popular tourist attractions in your country?
Well, with enormously huge territory and long history, my country, China, has just so many popular tourist attractions that one can see and explore. Some more popular tourist attractions are, of course, the Great Wall of China in Beijing, the Giant Panda Breeding Center in Chengdu (some prefer to call it “China’s national treasure” also), the Terracotta Army in Xi’an (2000 years old underground army), and the yellow mountains near Shanghai. Besides the jade dragon snow mountains and Victoria Harbour are also very popular with some tourists.
How do the types of tourist attractions that younger people like to visit compare with those that older people like to visit?
Young people and older generations have different mindsets and different ways of doing things, and therefore, it is only natural that they will choose different tourist destinations. For example, older people would generally prefer to go to such tourist spots where they can relax, being quiet and laid back, and spend some quality time with their families and friends.

On the other hand, young people would prefer to visit those places where they would be able to have more fun, try new things, and become a bit adventurous while doing things like sky diving and mountain hiking.
Do you agree that some tourist attractions (e.g. national museums/galleries) should be free to visit?
Well, nothing comes “free” in this world since someone in somewhere has to pay for it in one way or another. Having said that, however, some tourist attractions like national museums and galleries should be free to visit, in my humble opinion, because museums and art galleries have an important role in preserving a nation’s history and heritage for its new generations. Free access to these places would ultimately encourage more people to find out about their country and help promote the feelings of national solidarity and cultural identity among them.
