1. You need to listen to the recording while you are reading your questions. You need to be multitasking in your listening time. Most of the students face difficulty to perform both the tasks. For this, you need to try redirecting the time from other activities and reading questions which are coming next. If you take several practice test you know that the test begins with instructions which are read pretty slowly and that are the same every time. So you need to spend this time on reading questions.
2. As you know they discuss each option only once if you hear that incorrectly you should know that they will not come back to this option. If your answer is correct than don’t waste time to check to that again and move to the next one.
3. Identify the keywords in the questions to find the correct answer. The keywords help you to determine what the question is about. Moreover, they will discuss all the options if you have multiple choice questions. They give the little detail about all the options and it depends upon you how you understand them.
4. Don’t worry if you don’t understand the all words. Because they just do their conversation in the listening but you should focus only on the particular question. So, listen to the audio and find your answer according to the keywords.
5. In case you don’t understand the answer than don’t leave the blank. Try to do your guess and fill the vacant space with some other word as there is no negative marking in IELTS and if you are lucky than Because sometimes you guess may be right or examiner check your answer by mistake.
6. Make sure your all spelling will be correct. If you face difficulty to write the spellings than do practice before your exam. When you do any spelling mistakes in your exam the examiner don’t give you any scores of incorrect spellings. So always check your spelling after transferring your answers to an answer sheet.
