Dear Rtobella,
This is Tanushq Simolu, your sociology student at Dukio Luko University. I graduated last year. I am writing this letter to request you to write a letter of recommendation for me as I am applying for a job as a manager in an NGO.
As you may remember I had my thesis on juvenile delinquency and the role of society. Recently, I applied for a managerial position in an NGO. This job is related to rehabilitating the young delinquents. As my thesis was related to this job and I have done a lot of field work and research on the young offenders, I believe I would be best suited for the job.
To complete the job process I need a letter of recommendation in which you have to mention my researches and my thesis subject. As you have been my guide during the research project, you can elaborate on my work in the recommendation letter and your recommendation could go a long way in helping me get the job.
