Sentence– I wanted to be singer but unfortunately I don’t have musical talent.

To be/sing out of tune: to not be in harmony/to sing the wrong notes.
Sentence– In a live concert one of the local artists sung out of tune and was later criticized.

A piece of music: an item of music.
Sentence– Sometimes a piece of music stuck in my mind and I sing for whole day.

Sentence– Experienced singers can play by ear.

A pop group: a small group of people who play or sing pop music together.
Sentence– A pop group is very famous in my home town.

To read music: to understand and follow written musical notes.
Sentence– It’s very difficult to read music and follow each and every notes in it.

Sentence– If got the opportunity I will like to meet a rock band.

To sing along to: to join in singing.
Sentence– Some songs are so catchy that we start sing along it.
