– what type of transport you use
– how long it takes
– whether you use the same type of vehicle always
– and explain if you enjoy it or not.
SAMPLE ANSWER
My journey to the office typically involves commuting by car. I find it convenient as it allows me to have flexibility in my schedule and reach my destination directly without having to transfer between different modes of transport. On average, the drive takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
IELTS Speaking Test
I usually use the same type of vehicle, which is my car. It’s reliable and familiar, making the commute smoother and more predictable in terms of timing. Occasionally, if there are major traffic jams or if I need to attend to other matters while traveling, I might consider using public transportation or carpooling with colleagues.
As for enjoyment, it’s a bit of a mixed feeling. I appreciate the comfort of my own space and the ability to listen to music or podcasts during the drive. However, traffic congestion can be stressful, especially during peak hours. Overall, I make the best of it and try to use the time productively or relax as much as possible before starting my workday.
