I really like writing letter to other people, especially on special occasions. I remember writing many letters, like birthday letters, or farewell ones to any of my friends and relatives who had to go somewhere far away from me. My friends and relatives always feel happy when they receive a letter from me; they say that it makes them feel important and cherished.
Do you think emails are useful?
Emails are really useful and important to me. I can use emails to contact people who are staying far away from me, and this really comes in handy as I have lots of foreign friends. Moreover, I can receive notifications through emails by subscribing to any online channels that appeal to me.
What sorts of letters (or emails) do you think are the most difficult to write?
Formal emails, like the ones you send to recruiters, to your boss, to your professor and so on, are very difficult to write. You have to choose the right tone for the emails so that they do not appear too casual or too serious, and you to pay attention to the format of the emails too.

It depends. For special occasions, like on someone’s birthday, I prefer writing letters to congratulate them as handwritten letters can show my sincerity. SAMPLE ANSWER
Last month, I had a get-together with some of my high school friends whom I had not met since we graduated. Then, we decided to have lunch at a well-known pizza restaurant in the city centre.
Arriving at the restaurant, we were quickly given the menu. What surprised me the most was that there were various types of pizza and drinks; hence, it took me quite a long time to choose the food. After that, we talked with each other while waiting for the dishes. Some of my friends were studying at the same university; some had decided to get a job. And I was especially impressed by the decision of one friend to take a gap year. She said that as she had a strong passion for traveling, she would spend one year visiting lots of places.
Then, the dishes were served. The pizza was out-of-this-world and the drinks were tasty although they were a bit pricey. We kept talking and enjoying the meal and drinks for about two hours. Actually, meeting them reminded me of the time when we studied at high school and I realized that now we were all grown-up, we had our own plans to pursue. But we all promised to meet up regularly.
PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
Describe what you think is a healthy diet.
Developing a healthy eating habit isn’t as confusing or as restrictive as many people imagine. Personally, a healthy diet is the one which combines enough nutrients for one’s life. Therefore, consuming a rich variety of food is very important because eating a wide assortment of foods helps ensure that you get all of the nutrients, especially the disease-fighting potential that foods offer.
Is the food that people eat today in your country different from the food that people used to eat in the past? (if yes, in what ways has it changed?)
Personally, eating style of most people has changed recently. Significantly, food hygiene is mentioned every day in the news. Therefore, people are very cautious when they choose ingredients in reliable market/supermarket and cook properly. Those fat-free or low-fat food and veggies are more preferred in daily meal compared to in the past, choosing food were mostly based on interests.
More and more people are becoming overweight nowadays. What do you think might be the causes of this?
One major consequence of eating fast food every day is excess calorie consumption. Most fast food contains calories from refined sugar and fats. It is also high in sodium from salt and other addictive substance which can cause someone to eat it more and more. Consuming more calories than human needs leads to obesity which causes some health problems such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and even cancer.
