PART – 1 INTRO PART

What is your full name?
My name is Amarjit Singh.

Can I see your ID?
Here it is!

Where are you from?
I belong to Moga, which is in the northern part of India.

Do you work or study?
I work as an assistant HR manager with Jandu Realty.

Do you like relatives coming to your home?
Yes, I do like my relatives visiting my place. I have cousins with who I get along very well and love their companies always. At the same time, I also love visiting my friends and relatives more often.

What do you usually do with relatives?
All fun, I would say. Whenever my cousins visit my place, we go back to all our old days of school, full of mischievous events they we had enjoyed. They allow me to relive my sweet childhood memories. One of my cousins and I studied together, and in fact, we were together until the higher secondary level. We’ve many common interests, such as playing cricket, watching action and thriller Hollywood movies, partying, gossiping, and listening to the ‘Rock and Roll’ music and many among others.

Things have changed a little bit now. These days we also discuss the challenges that we face in business and at times seek each other’s suggestion to any particular business challenges. My cousin is a foodie and my mom is an excellent cook, so we drink and have supper together whenever’ it’s possible.

Do you prefer visiting relatives yourself, or for them to come to your place?
I prefer both arrangements because all the cousins have many places to hang out and meet at any good place. But our uncles and aunties don’t frequent ours places much as we do so it gives us an opportunity to see our relatives with family. Because of parents and relatives, I like both arrangements whether they come to our placed or we go to their place.

SAMPLE ANSWER:-

Science and technology has been growing at an immense pace since the last few decades. We have seen newer inventions influencing all aspects of life. Health and fitness, communications, entertainment, education, and many other areas of life have been benefited by innovations in the field of science and technology. Here, I would like to talk about mobile phones. Mobiles were first introduced in the beginning of the 1990s.

Since their introduction, they have been welcomed by people all over the world. Mobiles have changed our lives in many direct and indirect ways. They have completely changed the way we communicate to each other. Now, we can talk, send messages, store data, and perform many other businesses and entertainment-oriented functions, with just a mobile phone in hand. Mobile phones have given us mobility, thus smoothening the way we work and socialize.

Mobiles have brought radical changes in our lives. Mobile have inbuilt phone books, which store phone numbers, email addresses, and postal addresses pf hundred of people. They can also store pictures, songs, games, data, software, and other media to facilitate our work and leisure. Mobiles are extremely useful in emergencies. They help us in finding the nearest available assistance for us remotely. What’s more, mobiles come with fascinating features like inbuilt Bluetooth, wireless connectivity, QR code scanners, biometric security measures, voice recorders, cameras and video recorders.

Moreover, many mobile phone companies provide inbuilt GPS (Global Positioning System) software, too. This help us in finding our way in any country or city of the world. This wonderful facility helps us a lot in unknown cities or foreign countries. Indeed, mobiles have become a necessity In almost everyone’s life, today.

PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS

Does it have any drawbacks?
Yes, this is something that we must be aware of Mobile work on electromagnetic radiation. When we use a mobile phone, it’s transmitter and receiver work simultaneously. This can cause harm to the cells of our body, especially of the brain. It has also been proven that excessive exposure to electromagnetic radiation can damage the cells of our brain permanently and also increases the risk of brain tumour.

Even when we are not using our phone, its receiver stays on, and it also harms our body cells. So, we should use our mobile only when it is needed, and we should not keep it near our heart. Should keep it in a separate pocket near our waist or knee, instead. There are some bio magnetic products available these days, with we can protect ourselves from the harmful effects of mobile phones, also.

Has it been modified ever since it was invented?
There have been immense changes in mobiles since they were launched. Mobiles used to be very big and heavy, contained only monophonic ringtones, and had black and white display screens. Now, mobiles come with MP3 ringtones, TFT colour screens or LCD touch screens, and they can work as our personal computers, also.

Which country is leading in introducing such inventions?
It depends on the country where these inventions are being used most. However, if we see globally, Nokia, a well-established mobile brand in India and in the world, belongs to Finland. Samsung and LG are from South Korea, and Motorola and Apple are based out of America. However, I think, research is being done better in the USA. On such great invention that shook the world is Apple Inc.’s I-phone, whose research and development was done in the USA.

Are similar products invented in your country/other countries as well?
Yes, research for better and more user-friendly mobiles is an ongoing process in India, China, Japan, and many other countries. We also host research centres of all big mobile companies.
