You recently became a member of a sports club, but you have noticed some issues that need to be addressed. Write a letter to the club manager. In your letter:

– Explain why you decided to join the sports club.

– Describe the problems you have encountered.

– Suggest what the manager could do to improve the situation.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir or Madam,

I recently joined your sports club with the intention of improving my fitness and meeting like-minded individuals. I chose your facility due to its reputation for excellent amenities and a wide range of activities.

However, after a few visits, I have encountered several issues that I believe require attention. Firstly, the gym equipment is often out of order or not properly maintained, which makes it difficult to complete a full workout. Additionally, the changing rooms are not cleaned regularly, and basic supplies such as soap and paper towels are frequently missing. Finally, some group classes are often cancelled at the last minute without prior notice, causing inconvenience for members who plan their schedules around them.

To enhance the overall experience, I suggest implementing a regular maintenance schedule for the equipment and improving the cleanliness of the facilities. Moreover, providing timely updates about class cancellations through email or a mobile app would help members stay informed.
