The diagrams illustrate the layout of a preschool classroom in 2010 and its current arrangement.
Overall, the classroom retains its general structure with the entrance, sink, bookshelves, and some areas like toys, dolls, and art supplies remaining in the same location. However, there are notable changes in the use of space, furniture arrangement, and technology.
In 2010, the classroom featured two separate play areas, one near the entrance and the other near the top left. A teacher’s desk was situated near the lower left corner, beside the classroom tables. Educational resources such as a whiteboard, media system, puzzles, and blocks were positioned along the right wall.
In contrast, the current layout has removed the teacher’s desk and the lower play area, replacing them with a more spacious and open classroom. Modern technology, including a smartboard, speakers, and a computer, now occupies the right side. The top right play area has been renamed as an “Art area,” reflecting a shift in focus.
