The pie chart below shows the causes of forest fires worldwide and the table shows the percentage of forest fire damage by cause. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie chart shows the causes of forest fires worldwide in percentages. Meanwhile, the table presents the percentages of forest fire damage in the world by different causes.
As the pie chart clearly shows, campfires are the most common cause of forest fires at 40%. This is followed by spontaneous combustion at a close 35%. Disposing of lit-cigarette butts comes next at 20% and then lastly, lighting at 5%.
When talking about fire damage, spontaneous combustion fires cause the greatest effect at 45% in Asia and 50% in the United States. In Europe, fires caused by cigarette butts are the worst of all at 35%. In addition, the percentage of affected forests in the world is 5% in Asia, 18% in Europe, and 15% in the United States.
In Summary, the most common cause of forest fires in the world is campfires. In addition, the greatest forest damage is caused by spontaneous combustion in Asia and the US, and by cigarette butts in Europe.
