The chart presents an analysis of access to key services within a 20-minute drive for residents in the Southern Region of Estland, distinguishing between urban and rural areas.

It is evident that urban residents enjoy markedly higher access to all the enumerated services compared to their rural counterparts. Notably, the availability of grocery stores emerges as the most accessible service in both areas.

In urban areas, approximately 90% of the population can access grocery stores within a 20-minute drive, surpassing the access rates for general practitioners and public amenities such as libraries and public transport, which are approximately 82% for general practitioners and about 78% for libraries and public transport.

Conversely, in rural settings, access to services is significantly constrained. While grocery stores remain the most accessible service at just over 63%, access to healthcare services stands at about 57%. The availability of libraries and public transport is considerably lower, with only 35% having access to libraries and 18% to public transport, highlighting the significant difference in service accessibility between urban and rural areas.
