The chart below shows the percentage of households in a European country that owned a car between 1990 and 2020.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

SAMPLE ANSWER
The chart illustrates the percentage of households with different levels of car ownership in a European country from 1990 to 2020. Over the three decades, the proportion of households without a car declined from 40% to 20%.
In contrast, households with one car initially increased from 45% in 1990 to 50% in 2000, but then decreased to 35% by 2020. The percentage of households owning two cars steadily rose, reaching 30% by 2020.
Lastly, the share of households with three or more cars showed a slight increase, from 5% in 1990 to 15% in 2020. Overall, car ownership increased significantly over this period.
