To Reflect: to think deeply or carefully about something

To Blot Out: to remove or erase something from your memory or to try to forget or ignore it completely

To Evoke: to bring back or remind us of something from the past. It’s like a mental trigger that helps us remember and feel certain things again.

Examples: I recall meeting him many many years ago.

Nostalgia: a deep and sentimental affection for the past

Recollections: things that we remember
Examples: Some people have surprisingly clear recollections from when they were 3 or 4 years old.
