# Gap filling in summary
This type is particularly tricky one to solve. In this type a passage is given with sone gaps. Candidates have to fill that blanks by putting one’s finger on passage and finding the answers. It requires a lot of practice. Further it has 2 types:

•Without help box
Strategies to solve
1. Initially start by reading summary exercise and understand that thoroughly and pick out highlighting words.
2. Make an assumption as you read summary. Try to predict if the answer could be noun, pronoun, adjective, verb. The answer could start from vowel or not if it followed bh which article. If you have help box you can easily prefer elimination method.
3.Track the location in passage and find where exactly the answer “locate” and main subject is highlighted.

Answer may follow the sequence or they can be at any location in the passage.
In general, in the whole exercise there are 11-14 questions of gaps filling. So it is recommended to read passage thoroughly in sequence.
4.If you get to know about location pick out the answer from location and answer it accordingly. Don’t look for exact words in the passage too.

# Gap filling in Sentence Completion
In this type sentences are given and each sentence includes a gap in it. These are 5 to 6 sentences which are to be completed.
Tricks to solve
1. As like summary in this you need not to read full sentences. Read out only once.
2. Similarly as above predict the answer to fill the gap, so that you can get what, where, when of the particular answer.
3. Track your answer in the reading passage and again don’t look for same words.
# Table/Flowchart Type
These forms also includes fill in the blanks and are also very interesting. Table is structured with rows or column’s. Apart from thus table consists information that is full-fledged and candidates have to fill others.
Tips to solve
1. Carefully read out whole table and note key points.
Pay attention that table information may not be in sequence and you must read out table at the initial step.
2. Find location with the help if key words and mark answers which fits out.
A flow chart is the type of chart in which information is followed by arrows down and particularly sentences gap are interlinked with each other. Unlike tables, flowcharts information can be found in sequence many times.

# Question/Answer type
Fill-up questions of this type, a reading module has one exercise. A question is asked where student need to answer it. It is somewhere easier for the students to estimate the answer in this type.
Tips to crack this
1. Pinpoint the major words (keywords)while reading out questions and use those to find out answers.
2. If you spot any key point, that would be the probable spot of the particular answer that is to be answered.
3.Whenever you get down the answer directly write it in your answer sheet.
