1. Try to focus on your introduction. To make it more effective you can rephrase the statement with unique methods and you should also avoid giving new idea in the introduction.
2. Try to support your description with figures because it is essential in every type of writing. If you represent idea and you don’t explain or elaborate it you will not get good scores as it will be considered as incomplete. Some student’s just write the idea and move to the next idea it will deduct your band scores. Try to elaborate your idea with valid reason and then move to the next idea because explanation is mandatory in writing module.
3. Last five minutes are essential to use well. These last minutes helps you to get 8 band score from 5.5. You can utilize last few minutes to check your spelling mistakes and grammar error and you can also include vocabulary. If you wrote your task in a very simple way from the beginning but in the last moments you can add some synonymous and vocabulary in your essay to make it impressive.
4. If you don’t able to complete your task on time and you have just few minutes left and it seems that you will not be able to finish the task then go and write your conclusion first because sometime examiner judge your writing from the introduction and conclusion. Even if you are on the body paragraph 2 and you know that you have just few minutes than also you can leave that in between and just write the conclusion.
5. Examiner always checks your quality not to the quantity. It means don’t try to write too much. Put your focus on writing excellent English and clarifying your information rather than write a too long essay. However, if you write the same information like the question for your introduction in this case examiner will not count those words. So try to make your introduction by paraphrasing.
6. Remember, don’t write about the opinion unless they are not asking you. If you will do that the examiner thinks that you don’t understand the question properly. If they want to know about your opinion than they ask for it like “what is your opinion “or” what you think about the essay”. Also don’t give your view point before the conclusion because after discussing the whole essay you can add the view point than you can say about your thinking about the essay.
7. If you face the problem to generate the ideas. You can get idea from the books internet. When you are appearing for the IELTS exam you need to start your writing before your exam. In this way you become expert to getting ideas and internet and books are the major source to get ideas on particular topics.
8. You can write your essay in any type of handwriting you write it can be cursive or simple. It doesn’t make any difference in your scores but your writing should be neat and clean.
