While giving the IELTS, the objective of most of the students is to get the highest possible score so that they do not have to give the exam again. 1. Always follow the time given to you to spend on each task, to get maximum scorers. Do not waste time while attempting the unnecessary things test, as each and every second is crucial. For instance, in IELTS writing the task 2 carries more points as compared to task 1.
2. As it is obvious that you are provided with limited time while attempting this test so you need to save your time and avoid wasting time by focusing on each and every word specially in Reading.
3. In the reading test you are sometimes provided with an example so you should review the example if it is provided. Reviewing example can help you to find the correct answer for the actual reading questions.
4. Before starting the IELTS writing section always try to plan the task before you start writing. You should make and organize your thoughts before writing on the written section. In this way you can develop and express your views in a better way.
5. At the end of the test as well you should be left with some time in order to review the work that you have done. As by doing this you can find the mistakes and edit them. So always try to manage your time in such a manner that you are left with some time at the end of the test too.
6. Do not speak to the recording equipment while giving the IELTS speaking exam. You are supposed to talk with the examiner not with the recording equipment. Make an eye contact with the examiner and speak to him.

9. You should predict the answers in the time, which is given to you in between the recording sections. In this time you can prepare the answers and get maximum number of correct answers.
10. In the IELTS listening test the audio follows the order of information provided in the questions. So if you miss even one question the you might lose the track. So, follow the sequence while attempting listening test.
11. In listening test most of the students gets less scores because of the spelling errors. You get 10 minutes after the test to transfer your answers, in that time you should check your grammar and spelling mistakes and you can edit them at that time.
12. While attempting the test whether listening or reading you always need to focus on the instructions. In some sections the word limit ranges from one to three words in that case you may lose your points if you have not provided the answer according to the instructions.
13. Never add any fillers or unnecessary words while attempting IELTS reading. Always remember that there are some questions types in which you need to write in your own words and sometimes you need to find the answer from the passage. So choose your answers wisely
