The don’ts of the essay
Don’t use the contractions

So try to avoid the contractions such as shouldn’t, wouldn’t, couldn’t, didn’t and so on. Why is it so.? Because we have to sound bit more formal and when you use contractions it is informal in nature.
Don’t memories your answers
Some students cram the lines to use in writing but you need to avoid this. Your answer should be Natural and thoughtful because examiners are also super trained and they come across multiple repetitive templates so they easily understand that you are copying it and it’s not your own answer.
Don’t repeat words
Candidates have list of just few words and they repeat that words again and again. For example you have a word “people”. Students use this word at least 20 times in their essay instead of doing this they can use synonyms like individuals, human beings, masses folks and many more. So try to use synonymous of words rather than repeating. If you do repetition of words then examiner think that you don’t have vast knowledge about the vocabulary.
Avoid copying the question as it is in your answer
Never ever think about copying your question and borrowing the line or two from the question to your answer booklet. You can instead paraphrase your question and then write the answer. You need to understand what is given in the question and write it in your own words that is basically Paraphrasing.
The do’s of the essay
Do use the appropriate structure
Each question has the structure you need to follow that. In every paragraph, you can use an introductory line to state the idea reinforced in the paragraph. Firstly do planning for 5 minutes on your essay then start write the essay. By doing this you can save your time to write it more effectively.

You write the whole essay but not sure about the advantages outweigh the disadvantages or not. Due to this, you decline your band scores. You should be very clear that your answer will be specific and direct.
Keep referring back to your question throughout your essay
