1) The first difference between a preposition and a conjunction is that a preposition can be followed by a verb or a noun, whereas a conjunction always follows a verb.

3) Conjunctions are primarily used to join clauses, sentences, and words, whereas prepositions are typically used to demonstrate the relationship between particular words, phrases, etc.
