Naive – showing a lack of experience
Sentence – It would be naive of us to think that football is only a game.

Primitive – a person belonging to a preliterate, non-industrial society.

Abstract – something detached from physical, or concrete, reality
Sentence – We have lost the abstract sense of beauty.

Collage – a piece of art created by combining photos
Sentence – Make a spring collage with pictures from magazines of animals and flowers

Seascape – a view of an expanse of sea.
Sentence – I wish the seascape as my background.

Cityscape – the visual appearance of a city or urban area
Sentence – At night the cityscape is stunning.

Portraiture – the art of painting or taking portraits.
Sentence – I am going to have my portraiture taken.

Shallow – not exhibiting, requiring, or capable of serious thought.
Sentence – The water gets quite shallow towards the shore.

Subdued – quiet and rather reflective or depressed.
Sentence – She spoke in a subdued voice.

Distorted – pulled or twisted out of shape
Sentence – Pain had distorted her face.

Freehand – done without the use of anything to guide the hand.
Sentence – I can’t draw very well freehand.

Meandering – following a winding course.
Sentence – Village, made of two converging streams meandering streams by.

Bumpy – uneven, with many patches raised above the rest.
Sentence – The road is very bumpy

Gooey – soft and sticky.
Sentence – If it is gooey inside then you will need to increase cooking time.

Tacky – not fully dry and retaining a slightly sticky feel.
Sentence – I believe that the advertisement is very tacky.

Velvet – a closely woven fabric of silk
Sentence – She was dressed in black velvet.
