TOURIST – someone who visits a place for pleasure and interest.
Sentence – Number of tourist visit Maldives in the summer season.

WATERPARK – a large outdoor area with swimming pools, water slides, and similar amusements.
Sentence – We enjoyed a lot in the waterpark.

SAFARI – a trip to see or hunt wild animals.
Sentence – They went on safari in Kenya.

LIGHTHOUSE – a tall building with a light at the top to warn and guide ships near the coast.
Sentence – A lighthouse overlooks the estuary.

HOTEL – a place where you pay to stay when you are on holiday or travelling
Sentence – Plethora of hotels are available in my hometown.

LIFEBUOY – a buoyant support such as a lifebelt for keeping a person afloat in water.
Sentence – We wear the life buoy and play with the dolphins.

LUGGAGE – suitcases or other bags in which to pack personal belongings for travelling.

CRUISE – to travel by boat, visiting a number of places.

CARAVAN – a group (of people or animals) traveling together on a long journey.
Sentence – The nomads traveled as a caravan from place to place.

CAMPSITE – a place where you can stay in a tent
Sentence – Nowadays most of the campsites are empty.

CAMPFIRE – an open-air fire in a camp, used for cooking and as a focal point for social activity.
Sentence – The men crowded together round the campfires

BACKPACK – a large bag, often on a metal frame, that you carry on your back when travelling.
Sentence – She usually toted the baby around in a backpack.

STARFISH – a flat sea animal in the shape of a star with five or more arms
Sentence – If a starfish loses a leg, it grows back.

SURF BOARD – a long narrow board used for the sport of riding on waves (surfing)
Sentence – I’mgoing to buy a surfboard and learn to surf.

SUNSHADE – an object like an umbrella used as a protection against the sun
Sentence – How about a sunshade on top of the roof?

SNORKEL – a plastic tube that allows a swimmer to breathe while keeping the head or face under the surface of the water.
Sentence – This is the best snorkel at that price.

FLIPPERS – a flat arm that is part of the body of some sea animals which they use for swimming.
Sentence – He would have them do kick sets wearing flippers.

FLIP FLOPS – a simple open shoe with a thin strap that goes between your big toe and the toe next to it
Sentence – They’re perfect for wearing with flip-flops or boots.

SANDCASTLE – a pile of sand that looks like a castle.
Sentence – The kids had a ball building sandcastles.
