Lively bars/restaurants: bars or restaurants with a good atmosphere

Sentence- In the metropolitan cities the lively bars and restaurants are opened till late nights.

Tend to: usually, regularly or frequently.

Sentence:  He tend to watch television when he get frustrated from work.
