Your IELTS test centres will send your official Test Report Form (TRF) to your postal address.

How to tally IELTS Band Scores?
In order to calculate your IELTS scores one just require to take just an average of all the sections scores named Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. With the help IELTS Band Calculator you can easily assess your Listening and Reading Band Scores and the overall. You can have an overall with the total sum of each section divided by 4. If the average comes out in a decimal point, then it will be rounded off to the nearest half or whole band.
To site an example, if the average comes out in .25, then it is rounded up to the next half band. So, in this case, if your average score is 6.25, then the final score will be counted as 6.5. In other cases where the average is .75, then it will be rounded off to the next whole band. Therefore, if you get a 6.75 band, the final score will be taken as 7.

Validity Period for IELTS results
An IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) is applicable for two years. Within these two years, you can send the IELTS scores to as many universities as you want. After this, an IELTS test taker won’t be able to use the IELTS scores, so, IELTS score validity is for two years.
