Increase: a rise in the size, amount, or degree of something.
Sentence: there’s been an increase in support for the party

Rise: an increase in number, size, amount, or degree
Sentence: the sun began to rise, casting a warm glow over the horizon.

Improve: achieve or produce something better than
Sentence: if they don’t improve on their offer we’ll walk out

Grow: to increase in size or amount
Sentence: more land was needed to grow crops for export

Climb: move with effort, especially into or out of a confined space;
Sentence: we used to climb trees and play by the lake

Peak: reach a highest point, either of a specified value or at a specified time
Sentence: the aim is to reduce traffic at peak periods

Uplift: to lift up; raise; elevate.
Sentence: but if you do make the effort, it will uplift you.

Upsurge: a sudden or large increase
Sentence: department stores report a recent upsurge in credit-card fraud.

Soar: to increase quickly in amount, number, value, or level:
Sentence: we run across the rooftop hand in hand and then soar into the air.

Shot up: to increase, very quickly in size or amount
Sentence: she’s really shot up in the last year, and now she’s taller than her mother.

Surge: a strong rush or sweep; sudden increase
Sentence: they turned and saw a surge of water coming towards them skyrocket
