WRITING IELTS ACADEMIC VS GENERAL
There are two variants of the IELTS Writing test: Academic and General Training. If you intend to attend college or work in a professional setting, the academic one is for you. The General Training one is meant for circumstances that are more commonplace.

THINGS TO REMEMBER
– Understanding the question and determining its kind is the most important initial step. Determine if you must offer a solution or an opinion. Find out if you must write in support of the argument or critique it. If you correctly identify this, a significant task has been accomplished.
– An essay’s essential structure must be understood before writing. You can have a better understanding of the type and structure of essays by reading a book about essay writing.
– Spend as little time as possible on Task 1. Discover the unique writing structure required for every kind of Task 1. All you need to do to pass the actual test is use that structure with fresh information and appropriate verb tenses. Examine example responses and highlight well-structured ones so that you have a variety of academic formats for assignment 1 at your disposal. In Task 2, some structures might also be utilized.
