Once they are available, you can pick up your official Test Report Form (TRF) at your designated IDP IELTS office. How Long Does It Take to Get IELTS Results?
The release time for your IELTS results depends on how you took the exam:
– IELTS on Paper: Results are available 13 days after completing the test.
– IELTS on Computer: Results are accessible within 3 to 5 days after completing the test.
– IELTS on Computer for UKVI: Results are available 3 to 5 days post-test.
– IELTS on Paper for UKVI: Results can be checked 13 days after the test.
– IELTS Life Skills for UKVI: If you took the A1 or B1 exams, your results will be available 7 days after the test.

Checking Your IELTS Results Online
You can conveniently check your IELTS results online through your IDP account. These results will remain accessible for 28 days; however, keep in mind that online results cannot be used as an official document for verification purposes.

How to Download Your IELTS e-TRF
Now, test-takers who have taken the IELTS on a computer at an approved test center can download their electronic Test Report Form (e-TRF). This digital TRF functions the same as the traditional paper version but is provided in PDF format, making it easier to share with institutions.
To download your e-TRF:
1. Log in to your IELTS profile.
2. Navigate to the results section.
3. Download your e-TRF as a PDF file.

How Many TRFs Can You Receive?
Each test taker is entitled to one copy of their Test Report Form (TRF). However, exceptions apply:
• If you are applying to the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) or Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), you can obtain two copies of your TRF. Proof of application to these agencies is required.
• You can request up to five free electronic TRF deliveries to institutions you listed on your IELTS application form.
• If you need additional copies sent to institutions, international mailing or courier charges may apply.
If your original test center no longer holds your TRF, contact them for assistance.

Requesting Additional TRFs After the Test Center Closes
If the IELTS test center where you took the exam has closed, you can still request additional copies of your TRF for up to two years after your test date.
To request an additional TRF:
1. Fill out the Additional TRF Application Form.
2. Ensure your name matches exactly as it appears on your identification document.
3. Send the completed form via email to your exam center.
4. Attach a scanned copy of the passport or ID you used when taking the test.
Please note: Additional TRFs can only be sent directly to institutions or organizations. They cannot be sent to test takers, family members, or friends.
