Things you should know about offline booking IELTS exam

Today we will discuss Things you should know about offline booking IELTS exam as many students don’t know the process so to help them we will have a look on the various parts of booking process.

Registration

You can get the application form online or any of the authorized centre. The address of the centers can be found form the official website of the organization. You will get a set of information with the application form you are suggested to read it carefully. Fill the paper application form or online registration and submit it to your nearest test centre. If you go offline than you will have to enclose the test fee with the application or make the payment online. Make sure you fill the accurate information specially the number of your passport. Don’t forget to attach a clear colour photocopy or scanned copy of your valid identity document with the application form. The same ID document must be presented on the day of the test. Confirmation

On submitting your application form in the center you will be given a written confirmation of the date and time of the test. Your Speaking test time will be scheduled on a different day within a 7-day window before or after the written tests. The test centre will confirm your Speaking test time.

Test day

You should carry your ID document to the exam venue as it will be checked on the day of the test and before the Speaking test. It is mandatory to present the same identity document that you used while registration for the test. Your photograph will be clicked on the exam venue and the same will be printed on your TRF in addition a finger scan will also be taken.

Results

Results will be declared 13 days after the main test. You can collect you results on the 13th day from some of the centers. While other test centers mail result to test takers on the 13th day. Test centres are not allowed to give results out over the phone or by scan or email. You can check your result online 13 days after the test. Results will remain online for 90 days.

IELTS rules and regulations

It is necessary to know the rules and regulations of IELTS so that you don’t violet any of them. These rules and regulations are included in the application form. You agree with all of them when you sign the application form declaration and you confirming that you have read and understood the IELTS rules and regulations and agree to abide by them.

Register as soon as possible

To book exam on your desired date you should register as soon as possible. When you think that you are well prepared and can crack IELTS exam you should register for the exam. There are ample of IELTS aspirants who are eager to book their exam as if you will not take fast action you will not get your preferred date.   

Tell your center if you have special requirements

IELTS test taking organizations provide special requirements for the needy candidates so if you have any special requirements tell your center.  IELTS is a fair exam and to ensure that the language ability of all test takers is assessed fairly and objectively, IELTS provides a comprehensive service for test takers who have special requirements, including specific learning difficulties, hearing difficulties, visual difficulties, medical conditions or infant feeding. So if you have any requirement from the above said you should tell the centre while registering yourself for the exam.
