What’s IELTS Listening?
Listening section of IELTS is the easiest of other 3 parts. This section is total of 40 minutes in which 30 minutes are devoted in listening to the audio and 10 minutes at the end are of transferring the answers. Some people have knack for listening as it’s very easy to solve as you just need to focus on finding the correct answers rather than scrutnizing it thoroughly.
What does sections include?
Recording 1 – a conversation between two people set in any everyday social context
Recording 2 – a monologue set in an everyday social context
Recording 3 – a conversation between up to four people set in an educational or training context
Recording 4 – a monologue on any academic subject

Tips to stay active while Part 4

Comprehension of everything is not vital
Assume the answer which you need to hear
Answer will follow the order, don’t get distracted
Strategy For Beginners
For beginners they need to read transcripts first.
Don’t directly start working on it as you would find difficult to listen an academic talk.
Understand each point of summary and pre assume what is required to fill the gaps( nouns, adjectives, adverb)
Underline new vocabulary and understand it’s meanings
At the end prepare with audio and check your correct answers.
