Who, in your opinion, makes a better parent, a mother or a father? Give logical arguments in support of your answer.
SAMPLE ANSWER:-
A child obviously has two parents, a mother and a father. The question is often asked: who makes a better parent out of the two? My conviction is that a mother surpases a father as far as extending parental care to the child is concerned.
First of all, let us recognize the fact that nature has designed woman’s physique to give birth to a child and nurture it. Even a girl child carries a womb inside her body. So it is her inner urge to provide all the care to a child. The little girls play with dolls, treat them as their babies and shower all the love and care on them. A grown-up woman carries the child in her womb for nine months. The child is the flesh of her flesh, blood of her blood. When the child is born, mother breastfeeds it, can understand its needs, and can take full care of it. The father comes nowhere near all this super parenting.
Previously, a father used to be the sole breadwinner of the family. So he could provide good education and better life to the child. But now mothers too are working mothers. They not only take care of the child, but also take care of an improved life for them. Even among the working couples, we can find that the mother, in spite of her professional obligations, remains intimately involved in the care and welfare of the child. It is all as per nature’s system and scheme of things.
To wrap up the whole thing, a mother undoubtedly makes a better parent. Father remains only at the periphery of acting as a parent.
