Write a letter to the association of your colony informing them about an event that your company would like to organize in the colony to promote some social cause. In the letter please write
Introduce yourself
– Write what is the company organizing and when
– How would that help the residents of your colony
– What would company require for the event
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir,
I am FG HUH, a resident of the West Avenue since last 10 years. I am writing this letter to inform and request for permission for permitting my company, Green Cult, to organize a green camp that would involve planting 300 saplings of native breed of trees in our area.
Our organization carries an experience of successfully converting numerous barren patches of urban land into green buffers. Although it does this work for money, this endeavor is to fulfill social responsibility.
For this program, the company would only require some volunteers from our area to oversee the job of sapling plantation. If volunteers want, they could also plant a sapling and give it a name too.
The onus of looking after the trees there after would lie on the management of the organization.
I feel that if we allow this program to take place, it would not only make our area green but also reintroduce native flora.
I hope to receive permission for the program at the earliest.
