Maybe a little. A name can affect how people see you, and sometimes it shapes your identity or confidence.

Nowadays, short and modern names like Arjun, Kiara, or Aanya are becoming more popular than traditional ones.

Do you think people read more now than in the past?
Actually, I think people read less now because of social media and short videos. Reading books requires more patience.

Do you think schools should encourage students to read more fiction or non-fiction?
Both are important. Fiction builds imagination, while non-fiction develops knowledge and critical thinking.

One subject I really enjoyed studying at school was Biology. It was taught by Mr. Sharma, who was one of the most enthusiastic teachers I’ve ever met. He had a great way of explaining complex topics in a simple and interesting manner.

During his classes, we learned about the structure of the human body, how different organs function, and how plants produce food through photosynthesis. What I found most exciting were the experiments we conducted in the lab, such as observing onion cells under a microscope or testing the effect of sunlight on plant growth. These activities helped me understand the practical side of science rather than just memorizing facts from textbooks.

I enjoyed Biology because it allowed me to explore how life works and gave me a deeper appreciation for nature. It also improved my critical thinking and made me more curious about scientific discoveries. Honestly, those classes were the highlight of my school days, and they even inspired me to consider a career related to health or life sciences in the future.

What subjects are most popular among students in your country?

In my country, students usually prefer Science, Mathematics, and English. These subjects are seen as important for getting good jobs in fields like engineering, medicine, or business. However, recently, subjects like Computer Science and Art have also gained popularity because of growing career opportunities.

Why do some students dislike certain subjects?

Some students find subjects like Math or History difficult because they involve a lot of memorization or complex problem-solving. Another reason is that the teaching method might be too traditional or boring. If teachers made lessons more interactive, students might enjoy them more.

How important is it for students to enjoy what they study?

It’s very important because when students enjoy a subject, they are more motivated and perform better. Enjoyment helps in long-term memory and encourages independent learning. On the other hand, if they dislike a subject, they might study only to pass exams, not to truly learn.

Has the way subjects are taught changed in recent years?

Yes, definitely. In the past, teaching was mostly based on textbooks and lectures, but now teachers use digital tools, videos, and smart boards. Many schools also focus on group discussions, projects, and hands-on experiments, which make learning much more engaging.
