SAMPLE ANSWER
One friend I would really love to travel with is my childhood friend, Rohan. We’ve known each other for almost 15 years now—we met in school when we were both in the fifth grade, and we’ve been close ever since.
Rohan is the kind of person who is always cheerful, open-minded, and curious. He has a great sense of humor and a very easygoing personality, which makes him really fun to be around. He’s also quite adventurous and loves trying new things—whether it’s food, outdoor activities, or exploring offbeat places.
I would like to travel with him because I know he would make the trip more enjoyable and stress-free. He’s very organized when it comes to planning, but he’s also flexible if things don’t go according to schedule. Plus, we share similar interests—we both love nature, photography, and local cultures—so I know we’d enjoy the same kinds of experiences.
Most importantly, we’ve already spent so much time together over the years, and we understand each other very well. I think that’s really important when you’re traveling, because being with the right company can make or break the experience.

PART – 2 FOLLOW UPS
Do you think it’s better to travel alone or with friends?
I believe both options have their own advantages, but personally, I enjoy traveling with friends more. When you’re with friends, there’s always someone to share the fun moments with, whether it’s trying new food, exploring a city, or even just laughing over unexpected situations. It creates shared memories that last a lifetime. However, solo travel has its own charm—it gives you complete freedom to make your own choices, go at your own pace, and even discover more about yourself. It really depends on the personality and purpose of the trip. For relaxation and bonding, I prefer going with friends.
What qualities do you think make someone a good travel companion?
A good travel companion should first and foremost be adaptable. Traveling often involves delays, changes in plans, and unexpected situations, so it’s important to be with someone who stays calm and flexible. Patience is another crucial trait, especially when dealing with long journeys or different cultures. I also think a good sense of humor and a positive attitude make the journey more enjoyable. Additionally, being organized and responsible helps a lot, especially when it comes to things like managing bookings, time, and money. And of course, it’s always a plus if they share similar travel interests.
Do young people prefer to travel with friends or family? Why?
In general, I think young people tend to prefer traveling with friends more than with family. This is mainly because they feel a sense of independence and freedom when they’re with their peers. They can plan activities that suit their tastes, explore nightlife, or even take risks that they might not take if they were with family. Also, being with friends often allows them to be more spontaneous and less restricted by routines. That said, some young people do enjoy family trips, especially if they have close family bonds, as it’s a good way to relax and reconnect.
