There are numerous positive outcomes for children who start learning an instrument. It gives them more self-assurance and teaches them discipline and persistence and in my opinion, everyone should at least learn to play any one instrument because it helps in restoring mind peace.

Do you think it’s important to give music classes in school?

How do you feel about those kids who know how to play lots of instruments?

Those who know how to play more than one instrument are very talented in the field of music and I definitely think they should pursue their career in the music industry only.

How do you feel about the phenomenon that parents in Vietnam are always forcing their kids to learn all kinds of instruments?

In my opinion, children regardless of where they are from shouldn’t be forced to learn anything if they don’t have an interest in that. Also, parents in Vietnam should not force their kids to learn instruments without them having interest because they will not learn it with full passion and their heart which is not worth it.

There was a time when I faced a major issue just a day before an important work presentation. My laptop suddenly stopped working, and I couldn’t access my files. All my research, slides, and important notes were stored on that laptop, and I had no backup. I was extremely worried because there was no way I could redo everything in such a short time.

The person who helped me was my close friend, Alex. He is very knowledgeable about technology, so I called him in a panic, hoping he could offer some advice. Instead of just giving me instructions, he came to my house immediately with his tools. He checked my laptop and found that the issue was with the hard drive. He managed to retrieve all my important files and transferred them to a different device. He even gave me a spare laptop to use for the presentation.

I felt incredibly relieved and grateful when he helped me. At that moment, I realized how lucky I was to have such a supportive friend. Without his help, I would have struggled to complete my presentation, which could have affected my professional reputation. His kindness and quick thinking saved me from a stressful situation, and I truly appreciated his support.

Do you think it’s important to help others?

Yes, I strongly believe that helping others is very important. When we help someone, it not only benefits them but also creates a sense of kindness and support in society. Small acts of help, like assisting an elderly person or supporting a friend in need, can make a big difference. Also, when we help others, we often receive help in return when we need it. It strengthens relationships and makes the world a better place to live in.

Do people nowadays help others more or less than in the past?

I think it depends on the situation. In the past, people lived in close-knit communities, so they relied on each other more for support. Nowadays, people have become busier with their personal lives and may not always be available to help in person. However, with the advancement of technology, people can now help in different ways, such as donating online, offering virtual support, or volunteering through social media platforms. So, while direct help may have decreased, new ways of helping have emerged.

How do people usually help each other in your country?

In my country, people help each other in various ways. For example, neighbors often help each other with household tasks or during emergencies. Friends and family provide emotional and financial support whenever needed. Additionally, in public places, people offer their seats to the elderly or assist someone who is lost. Many people also participate in charity work, such as donating clothes, food, or money to those in need. These small gestures create a sense of unity and compassion in society.

Why do some people not like to ask for help?

Some people don’t like to ask for help because they want to be independent. They may feel that asking for assistance makes them look weak or incapable. Others might hesitate because they don’t want to burden others with their problems. In some cultures, people are taught to solve their issues on their own, which makes them reluctant to seek help. However, asking for help is a normal and necessary part of life, and it’s important to realize that everyone needs support at some point.
