SAMPLE ANSWER
Something special I’d like to buy in the future is a high-quality camera. It’s something I’ve been dreaming about for a while now. The camera I’m interested in is a mirrorless camera, which is compact but still offers professional-grade features like excellent image quality, fast autofocus, and good low-light performance. I would mainly use it for photography, especially when traveling or attending events. I’ve always enjoyed capturing moments, whether it’s scenic landscapes, street photography, or special occasions with friends and family.
I’m planning to buy it in the next six months, once I’ve saved up enough money. I’ve done a lot of research, and I know this camera will be a great investment for my hobbies and creative projects. I’d like to buy it when I’m in a position to fully appreciate its features and use it regularly.
IELTS Speaking Test
The reason I want to buy it is because I’ve always been passionate about photography, but my current camera is quite old and doesn’t meet my needs anymore. I feel that upgrading to a better camera will help me improve my skills and create high-quality images. Plus, I’ve been wanting to document my travels and daily experiences in a more meaningful way, and this camera would be the perfect tool for that.
PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
Why do you think photography is a popular hobby?
I think photography is popular because it allows people to capture memories, express creativity, and see the world in a unique way. It’s also become easier with the advancement of smartphone cameras, so many people can start practicing photography without needing expensive equipment. It’s a great way to tell stories visually, and the results can be really rewarding.
IELTS Speaking Test
Do you think people should always have the best equipment for their hobbies?
I don’t think it’s necessary to always have the best equipment. While good equipment can improve the quality of your work, what really matters is your passion and creativity. Many photographers, for instance, start with basic cameras or even their phones, and still create amazing content. The most important thing is to enjoy the process and keep improving.
Do you think it’s better to buy something expensive or save money and buy something cheaper?
It depends on the situation. If the item is something you will use often and it will last a long time, like a camera or a laptop, investing in a more expensive, high-quality product can be worth it. But if it’s something you don’t need regularly, saving money and buying something cheaper might be the better option. It’s all about balancing your needs with your budget.
