IELTS Speaking Test
If I could choose an ideal place to stay, it would be a modern, spacious house located in a peaceful area, perhaps in the outskirts of a city or near the countryside. It would have a serene environment, with scenic views of nature, like forests or mountains, to give me a sense of tranquility and escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
The house would be designed with open, airy spaces, large windows to let in plenty of natural light, and a minimalist style with modern furniture. I would prefer a blend of contemporary design and some traditional elements, like wooden floors and large balconies. The kitchen would be state-of-the-art, with high-end appliances, and the living room would have a cozy fireplace for winter evenings.

As for special features, the house would include a home office, a library, and a private garden. I would also like a small swimming pool and a fitness area. Most importantly, I would ensure that the house is energy-efficient, using sustainable materials and smart home technologies to reduce its environmental impact.
This would be an ideal place for me because it would combine comfort, convenience, and a connection to nature. I love the idea of having a peaceful retreat that offers both relaxation and inspiration. Moreover, the ability to customize the space to suit my lifestyle would make it a perfect long-term home.
