One of my favorite relatives is my aunt, on my mother’s side. Her name is Ayesha and she has always been a significant figure in my life. She’s not just a relative but also a mentor and a friend to me.
I used to see her quite often when I was living in my hometown, probably every weekend. However, since I moved to a different city for my studies, I don’t get to see her as frequently. I usually visit her during the holidays, especially during the summer vacations when I have more free time. We also try to keep in touch through phone calls and messages.

Whenever I visited her, we’d usually spend a lot of time talking about life and catching up. I would also help her with small tasks like gardening or cooking, which I really enjoyed. She taught me how to cook some of her signature dishes, and I still follow her recipes today. Sometimes, we would go for long walks together, which allowed us to chat about anything and everything. These moments were always filled with laughter and deep conversations.
My aunt is my favorite relative for several reasons. Firstly, she has an incredibly warm and kind personality. She always knows how to make me feel loved and supported. Throughout my life, she has been there for me through difficult times and celebrated my successes. I’ve learned a lot from her, not just practical skills but also life lessons. Her ability to stay positive and calm, no matter the situation, has inspired me. She’s someone I can always turn to for advice, and I trust her opinion completely. Our time together has always been enriching and full of positivity, which makes her stand out as a favorite relative.
