Do you like taking photographs?

Why yes of course. They are a way to capture a moment in time. Moreover, I like to be able to show them to people so they can imagine that they were there with me. As I’m a big traveler, photos are my way of sharing my experiences without words.

How often do you take photos?

I would say every day. I’m a big fan of selfies, so I often snap a few of them to send to my boyfriend every morning before work. Moreover, I take hundreds of photos when I travel.

I which situation do you like take photos?

Any situation! But especially when I see something out of the ordinary. For example, I like to take photos when the light is setting just right on my street, or when I catch a glimpse (a look) of two children holding hands.

Do you prefer to take pictures of people or of scenery?

Definitely people. I like to capture the raw (real; candid) emotions on their faces. I feel that photos of people can be quite powerful. Moreover, I feel that scenery photography never does the actual place any justice.

Do you prefer to take photographs yourself or to have other people take photos?

Definitely myself. As I’m quite picky about the photos that I take and post, I take this responsibility upon myself. Call me a snob (a person who feels superior to others), but I feel that most people don’t have any idea of what makes a good photo and end up taking unflattering photos of me.

How do you keep your photos?

On my iCloud! I’m really grateful for this type of technology that keeps this record of my photos for me. Moreover, I post my photos on social media, such as Facebook and Instagram, so that also keeps them secure.

If I received a very large amount of money, I would first feel a mixture of surprise, excitement, and a bit of nervousness. I’ve always dreamed of having financial security, so to suddenly have such an amount would be both thrilling and overwhelming. However, I would be mindful of the responsibility that comes with it.

The first thing I would do is share it with my family and close friends. They have always supported me, and this would be my way of expressing gratitude. I would help my parents with their financial needs and give my siblings some money to support their education or start a business. I would also give a portion to some close friends who have had my back over the years. Sharing the wealth with those who helped me along the way would feel right.

I would definitely invest in a few things that I have always wanted. First, I’d buy a house, ideally in a peaceful and scenic location. It would be spacious enough for my family to live comfortably, with a large garden and perhaps a pool. I would also purchase a reliable and luxurious car, something like an electric vehicle, to make commuting more comfortable and environmentally friendly.

I would use a portion of the money to invest in my future. This might include putting money into a business, stock market investments, or starting an educational fund for myself. Additionally, I would donate to a few charitable organizations that focus on education and healthcare in underprivileged areas, as I feel passionate about giving back to society.

In terms of how I would feel, I think I would experience a great sense of relief and joy. It would certainly reduce any financial stress I have. At the same time, I’d feel a sense of responsibility to manage the money wisely. It would be tempting to splurge on luxuries, but I believe that I would focus on securing a stable future for myself and others, ensuring that the money is used for long-term benefits.

In conclusion, receiving a large sum of money would be a life-changing event. I would feel a sense of happiness and relief, but also recognize the need to act responsibly. My first step would be to share the wealth with those who have supported me, followed by wise investments for the future.

IELTS Speaking Test

Do you think money is important in life?

Yes, I do think money is important, but not in the way that it defines our happiness. Money is necessary for providing basic needs like food, shelter, and healthcare, as well as for pursuing personal goals and education. However, I believe that relationships, health, and a sense of purpose are equally, if not more, important than money in achieving a fulfilling life.

Do you think people spend too much money on luxury items?

Yes, in many cases, people do spend too much on luxury items, especially in a consumer-driven society. While it’s okay to treat yourself occasionally, some individuals seem to prioritize material possessions over their well-being or financial security. Excessive spending on luxury items can also lead to feelings of emptiness or dissatisfaction, as happiness often comes from experiences and relationships rather than possessions.

IELTS Speaking Test

What do you think is the best way to spend a large amount of money?

The best way to spend a large amount of money is to use it wisely by investing in assets that will create long-term value. This could include purchasing property, investing in a business, or even contributing to charitable causes. It’s important to balance spending on personal enjoyment with ensuring financial security and helping others in need.

Do you think it’s better to save or spend money?

Both saving and spending money are important, but I believe that saving should be prioritized first. Building an emergency fund and investing in long-term goals can provide financial security in the future. Once you have a stable financial foundation, spending money on things that bring joy and improve quality of life can be rewarding. Ultimately, it’s all about balance.
