SAMPLE ANSWER
One memorable meal that stands out was prepared by my grandmother. It was during the summer holidays last year when I visited her at her home in the countryside. She is an incredible cook and always puts her heart into her dishes, so I was really looking forward to it.
On that particular day, she decided to make her famous chicken curry, which is a family recipe passed down through generations. She spent the morning marinating the chicken in a blend of spices—turmeric, cumin, and coriander—while simmering a rich sauce made from fresh tomatoes, onions, and garlic. The aroma that filled the kitchen was simply irresistible, and it reminded me of my childhood.

She cooked the meal because she knew I had been feeling a bit homesick and wanted to cheer me up. Food has always been a way for our family to connect, and she wanted to create a warm, comforting experience for me.
When I finally sat down to eat, I felt a wave of nostalgia. The curry was rich and flavorful, served alongside fluffy basmati rice and warm naan bread. As I took my first bite, I was flooded with memories of family gatherings and happy times spent together. It wasn’t just a meal; it was a reminder of love and connection. I felt incredibly grateful and loved, and it truly lifted my spirits.
