Where can they go out for entertainment, or to enjoy themselves?

Of course, if one does not love spending time in museums, there are options to go out for drinks or networking while doing sports. It is possible to find an appropriate occupation for everyone!

Which do you prefer: eating in restaurants or eating at home?

Since I love trying new things out, eating out is my preferred option – I always go for dishes that I would never cook myself otherwise.

Which are the best places to eat out?

To me, the best restaurant is one that combines good food and exceptional atmosphere. I know only a couple of such places in my city and I wish there were more!

How much time do you like to spend out of home?

I am keen on spending time away from home, especially when it comes to working. I find so much more inspiration and motivation when not stuck in my house.

Where do you like to work?

When I am not at office, I tend to go to a park or a cafe, where I can smell pleasant odors, drink a cup of tea or coffee and distract myself from time to time.

Do you like taking photos?

Yes, for me – taking a photo is not only the process of capturing a moment and storing it in some kind of an endless memory, it’s also art. I find it so creative to look for a perfect background, a pose, a model, and then – finally take a shot.

What type of photos do you like taking?

Since the camera embedded into my cellphone is a very nice one – I have plenty of opportunities for experiments during the day when it comes to photography. However, I am inclined to take photos of people. Some of the best photos that I took were taken in unknown places where people posed for my camera.

What do you do with the photos you take?

I start from sorting out my photos – immediately delete the worst ones to clear up space. The next step is always editing – I take some time choosing the best ones and color correcting them. Sometimes, I share a few pictures with my friends and followers on Instagram. I usually print a photo or two if I want to gift them to someone or just frame them.

One sport activity I found particularly challenging was rock climbing. I did this for the first time about two years ago when I went on a climbing trip with some friends to a popular climbing spot in the countryside.

This experience took place during the summer of 2022, when the weather was perfect for outdoor activities. We had planned the trip as a way to enjoy the outdoors and try something new.

Initially, I was quite excited about the idea of rock climbing, as it seemed like a great way to challenge myself physically and mentally. However, as soon as I started climbing, I realized how demanding it was. The rock face was steeper and more textured than I had anticipated, and my grip quickly began to weaken. I struggled with both the physical effort required and the mental focus needed to navigate the route. It was also quite nerve-wracking to be suspended high above the ground, which added to my anxiety.

Despite my struggles, I managed to reach the top after several attempts, with the help of my friends and a supportive instructor. The sense of achievement was rewarding, but the activity was definitely more challenging than I had expected.

I found rock climbing difficult for several reasons. First, the physical exertion required was intense. Climbing involves not just arm strength but also core stability and leg power, and my muscles were not well-prepared for the strain. Second, the mental aspect of climbing was challenging. It required constant focus, problem-solving skills to find the best route, and the ability to stay calm despite the fear of heights. Lastly, the technique and skills needed, such as proper grip and foot placement, were unfamiliar to me, making the activity even more demanding.

What did you learn from that experience?

From this experience, I learned the importance of preparation and perseverance. I realized that tackling a new challenge requires not just physical readiness but also mental resilience. Additionally, I understood the value of learning from others and seeking guidance when trying something unfamiliar.

Would you do it again? Why or why not?

I would consider trying rock climbing again, but I would first spend more time preparing and practicing. Improving my physical conditioning and learning the techniques beforehand would help me feel more confident and capable. The experience was challenging but also exhilarating, and I think with more preparation, I could enjoy it even more.

Do you think it’s important for people to engage in challenging activities?

Yes, I believe engaging in challenging activities is important because they push individuals out of their comfort zones and promote personal growth. Facing and overcoming difficulties can build confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills, which are valuable in many aspects of life.

What other activities might be similar in terms of difficulty?

Activities like martial arts, advanced skiing, or even certain forms of competitive sports can be similar in terms of difficulty. These activities often require a combination of physical strength, technique, and mental focus, much like rock climbing. Each of these challenges demands a high level of commitment and practice to master.
