Yes, I truly believe that childhood friendship can last forever since in childhood, we make friends without any condition or selfishness. Definitely, it is essential for people to have friendship at the workplace because if you are being treated as a good friend, you can work better being surrounded by a positive work environment. Yeah, I happened to see a celebrity recently in a music show. I got the chance to see the famous singer Arijit in his music performance in a big hotel in Mumbai. Is it easy to make friends now as compared to the past?
I think it is comparatively easy to make friends now as compared to the ancient times when there never used to be so much technology available and the mode of communication had no existence at all. But now, you have social media websites where you can make new friends within seconds. For example, Facebook is the website where people send requests to each other and become friends in no time.
What are the important qualities of a good friend?
A good friend should, first of all, be trustworthy and honest. If you cannot trust someone, he cannot be your true friend. Apart from these qualities, a friend should be understanding and helpful so that he can help you at the time you face any difficulty or troublesome situation in your life. Let’s say, if you need money, a good friend would help you with the money you can borrow at the time of financial constraints.

SAMPLE ANSWER
Nowadays, mobile phone has become a basic need of every human being. We cannot think about spending our days without this device.
Although mobile phone got introduced many years ago, I received my personal phone after a long struggle. I still remember when I got my first cell phone. It was around 7 to 8 years back when I was in the final year of my graduation. My all friends used to have mobile phones to be in touch with their family members. I was also planning to get one but my pocket money was not allowing me to buy an expensive phone.

I did not ask my parents to buy a mobile phone for me but somehow they realised that I am in need of it. It was my birthday when they decided to gift me one cell phone. They bought a latest model of Nokia cell phone, Nokia 6600. To be honest I never asked them about the price of that but one day while searching for some other documents I found the receipt of purchase then I got to know it cost them rs9800/-. It was an expensive model with all the features.
I was very happy to get that phone as it was a very popular model of that time. It had all the latest features, 8 mega pixel camera, media player and other in built applications like Facebook and YouTube.
My first cell phone was with full of advanced technology of that time but these days, there are plenty of options available in mobile phones. It had 4 GB memory but currently I am using a phone, which has 128 GB in built memory. It helps me to store all the important data handy. Camera quality is also excellent that can be compared with any professional Nokia DSLR cameras.

PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
Do you like having a mobile phone?
Yes, it is both very useful and necessary in today’s world. Without one, it would be challenging to survive in the modern world. It is simply so helpful in every situation.
IELTS Speaking Interview
Is it a good or a bad thing to have a mobile phone? Why?
It doesn’t matter to me whether it’s good or bad because that’s how we communicate and conduct business these days. On their mobile devices, people take pictures, conduct informational searches, conduct online shopping, conduct banking, communicate for work, and do many other things. It is very significant; without it, many tasks would be challenging. It is similar to owning a car.
What can you do with a mobile phone?
As I previously mentioned, you can conduct online information searches, pay bills and conduct banking transactions, shop and make purchases online, and, obviously, communicate with people you know by email, text, and phone calls. Depending on your interests, many phones let you watch videos, listen to music, navigate, and use other apps. On my phone, I have about 50 different apps installed, allowing me to perform tasks like video chat, learning English, translating, and more.
IELTS Speaking Interview
Do old and young people use mobile phones in the same way?
No, I believe that in general older people still call someone when they want to talk. Text messages are preferred by millennials. I’m unsure if older people take as many pictures with their smartphones or use as many apps or features as younger people do. Older people still view a mobile phone as primarily a means of interpersonal communication. Younger people use it as a daily tool to help them accomplish tasks as part of everyday life.
Are children allowed to use mobile phones in your country?
Unfortunately, it is common to see kids using phones these days. To keep their kids entertained, parents allow them to watch videos and play games on their smartphones. However, in order to maintain order, in schools and colleges children are not permitted to use cell phones.

What are the effects when someone is making a lot of noise by using a cell phone in a public place?
I find it annoying when someone is using their cell phone loudly in a public setting. It causes a lot of disruption and is annoying, especially in settings like hospitals, houses of worship, libraries, and classrooms. To avoid causing a commotion, cellphone use in public places needs to be done with consideration.
