How may I address you?
You may address me as Obira.

Sure, here you go.
Do you enjoy walking?
Yes, I do enjoy walking. I walk everywhere that I can. I find it very relaxing and it is obviously good for my health. It also has the added benefit of being free of cost. I always feel very relaxed and refreshed after a long walk.
How often do you go walking?
I try to walk every day. Since I moved to a new place to live, I have made the decision to try to walk to all places which I need to visit as part of my daily life. Not only does this keep me healthy, but it also allows me to explore the new area that I am not living in.
Is walking popular in your country?
Yes, I think that walking has always been popular in my country. This is because it is both free and a good form of exercise. I think that a lot of people prefer to walk than to have to pay money to travel short distances around their hometown.
What is your favourite festival and why?
I like October Fest. It’s a German festival that starts in late September and ends in October. People drink lots of beer at October Fest and that is why I like it.

SAMPLE ANSWER
When I was a sophomore in college, I made acquaintance with a girl at my age in anotherdepartment. We soon became good friends and occasionally she invites me to her place.
Thus, Iget the chance to meet her whole family. Her family is not very rich and not powerful but I like them because they are happy and care foreach other. The father is always going on a business trip around the country but whenever hereturns back home, the mother prepares for dinner, picks him up in the airport while receivesthe gifts he brings.
Actually, the father is the stepfather of the girl, but as she told me, he treatsher even better than her own dad does.I like the family also because it is quite democratic.
For example, they always take an annualtrip together but unlike most families where father or mother takes the lead, they pick up thedestination through family discussion. And then, they share tasks like booking hotel anddesigning routes and planning intended traveling spots. In a word, I like the family because they own happiness and mutual respect

PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
Q. 1: Is family important in your country?
Answer: Thank you for this question. Well, people in my country believe that family comes first and they put their family ahead of anything else. They would do anything for the family and I am proud that family bonding in my country is quite strong.
Q. 2: How has the size of the family changed in the last few decades in your country?
Answer: From my experience, I can say that my grandfather had an extended family and people at that time used to live together with close relatives. As far as I have heard, their forefathers also live in a joint family and the number of family members was sometimes more than twenty. However, the trend of living in an extended family has changed remarkably in cities where most of the families are nuclear in nature. The villages in my country still have large families who live together but the number is shrinking day by day.
Q. 3: How do you think the family will change in the future?
Answer: I believe more people will have a nuclear family and the size of the family will be small in the future. People do not like to have more than two children nowadays and who knows they will consider having one baby policy in the distant future. The very norm that a man gets married to a woman and have their own children to form a family is being challenged by the concept of same-sex marriage and this trend will increase in the future.
