PART – 1 INTRO PART
What is your full name?
My name is Ramuliya Shuklita.
How may I address you?
You may address me as Ramuliya.
May I see your ID?
Sure, here you go.
Have you ever littered?
Never in my entire life, even a small piece of candy wrapper. I know how such a small action can have a big impact on the environment. That is why my bag or jacket’s pockets are always full of liters after being backed home from somewhere outside.
Why do people liter?
Without hesitation, they may throw things like plastic bottles or cups in public places if a trash bin cannot be found. However, some may even liter right next to a bin, so I believe littering has become a habit of many people.
How do you feel about that?
I often get very furious. I still remember a time seeing a man throwing a plastic cup of milk tea. At that time, I wish I could have enough courage to tell him pick it up and put into the bin. There is no reason to damage the environment with such a lack of awareness.
Do you remember your dream when you wake up?
No, for most of the time. That is why there were mornings I got up with pity for forgetting all the beautiful dreams I had the night before. However, sometimes I have nightmares too, and it is a good idea not to remember them at all.
Do you like hearing others’ dreams?
Yes, most of the dreams I have heard from others are funny stories, so they are so entertaining. Being chased by a cow or flying after a helicopter are some of my little brother’s dreams that used to bring me a good laugh.
PART – 2 CUE CARD
Talk about something that makes you excited
You should say:
• What it is
• How it is exciting
• Why you feel excited about it
SAMPLE ANSWER
To be honest, there aren’t many exciting things going on in my life at the moment, but if I have to talk about one, I would say the weekly coffee date with my best friend is what excites me the most.
The reason why I look forward to this date so much is because my friend and I rarely have a chance to talk on weekdays. Back in school, the two of us were like the white on rice, I mean we were inseparable. I could spend days and nights gossiping with my best friend, and meeting each other was never a problem for us. However, since graduation, both of us are always buried in work, so it gets harder to stay in contact regularly. So now, weekends are the only time we can meet up, and the thought of it never fails to excite me.
There are millions of things I and my bestie can do together. Most of the time, we choose a nice café to sit down and have a chat on some other occasions, we go shopping, or have brunch in a fancy restaurant. In fact, what we do doesn’t really matter, as long as we can see each other.
I feel relieved every time I confide in my best friend, because I know she will always cheer me up and give me some useful advice. All in all, this is one of the things that excites me the most, thank you for listening.
PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
What are your thoughts about the trend that people buy new things instead of repairing the old ones?
I believe that it is leading to a lot of environmental damage. Our landfill sites are filling up. As far as possible, we should avoid buying new things and get old ones repaired.
What is the product, which is consumed most in your country? Why?
Well, India is a diverse country and it is difficult to name one product, which is used the most. Many things are used a lot. Almost everyone seems to have a cell phone nowadays. So, maybe you can say that a cell phone is used the most.
