PART – 1 INTRO PART
What is your full name?
My name is Gurpreet Rana.
How may I address you?
You may address me as Gurpreet.
Do you like listening to music?
I love listening to music, especially US-UK. My favourite artists are Miley Cyrus and Troye Sivan; their songs always sound awesome to me.
When do you listen to music?
I listen to music whenever I feel like doing so. I most often do that before going to sleep, when I’m on the bus, or when I don’t have any important tasks to do.
Did you learn instruments?
I didn’t take up any classes on musical instruments and haven’t still. I have always wanted to learn to play the piano ever since I was a kid but never got the chance to. I’m planning on getting some piano lessons this summer.
Did you have any music classes in school?
I used to have music classes back when I was in primary school and secondary school. I loved my music class in secondary school. For our midterm and final tests, we had to form a group of at least four and perform a certain song that we choose ourselves. It was so much fun.
Do you think children must have music classes?
In my opinion, children should always have music classes. Music has been scientifically proven to have positive influences on one’s way of thinking and feeling, so it will do people good if they can experience music from an early age.
What do you think of Vietnamese traditional music?
It’s not really to my taste, to be honest. I literally cannot listen to traditional kinds of music such as “ca tru”, “cai luong” or “cheo”. I like listening to songs created during the war, though, maybe because my dad was a soldier. He told me stories about his years in the army, and so I can somehow relate deeply to those kinds of songs.

SAMPLE ANSWER
I’m going to tell you about a time I was overwhelmed. I was doing extra hours at work for a co-worker who was ill, so I already had plenty on my plate (to have a lot to do). To add to this, my friend asked me to help her out with an online project of her, which required a lot of time, energy, and research. Let me give you more details.
Well, this was just the other week actually in my hometown. She’s been a longtime friend of mine, so I really wanted to give her a hand, but I simply couldn’t manage it. It was a very time-sensitive project, so I didn’t want to accept it then later give up. However, she pushed me into it so I ended up doing what I could of it.
The thing that really bugged me was that she made it seem like it would be a simple activity, but it required me to research online for several hours, not to mention then writing out documents for about 6 hours each; there were 4 separate assignments. So, in the end, I did one assignment part of it then sent it back to her and told her she will have to make other arrangements.
I usually work about 40 hours a week, however, it was over 50 with my extra hours that week, so I simply didn’t have much time to spare (extra). Actually, I don’t think it would have been possible to add another 24 hours of work onto that week. Furthermore, I have to be energetic at my job to be able to effectively sell new products, so I definitely cannot neglect my sleep schedule. All in all, it was just an inconvenient time!
PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
Do you think young people organize their time in the same way?
Of course not. Some young people – like me – like to be meticulous in how we plan out our time. It helps us get more things done. Others prefer to make little to no plans at all. They feel more comfortable leaving their day open to improvisation and opportunities.
How do you feel when others are late?
This depends on why they are late. If it’s some genuine reason, like an accident or a traffic jam, I completely understand. Some things are not in our control. However, if they were just too lazy or inconsiderate to be punctual, that upsets me. This shows an utter lack of respect for my time.
