PART – 1 INTRO PART
What is your full name?
My name is Nidhi Chouhan.
How may I address you?

When was your last time worked with a team?
The last time I worked in a team was a project I did during the second year of my graduate school. Our tutor gave us an assignment to review the server log of an international trade website and give a brief analysis using data warehouse and data mining technology.
Do you like to work or study with others or just by yourself?
Personally, I would like to work in a team because I’d have partner to share the responsibility with and we could solve problems better, as the saying goes “Many hands make light work”.
What’s the most important thing for teamwork?
I think the most important thing for teamwork is deciding who does what. Every member of team should be assigned specific tasks and he or she should stick to that. Also team spirit is equally important
Do you like to be a leader?
Honestly, I would like to be a leader. Being a leader would reflect the hard work I’ve put into the job. I can win other peoples respect as well
What form of transport do you prefer to use? Why?
Without any doubt I would say motorbikes. You can see people driving a motorbike all over the place in my country. Almost everyone travels by motorbike. The reason why motorbike is so popular I think is due to their reasonable price and convenience. They also extremely varied in terms of size, color and quality, thus a wide variety of choices is available for everyone.
How often do you take buses?
Almost every day. Since my house is so far away from my university, it’s impossible for me to travel by motorbike. In addition, the air is heavily polluted by exhaust fumes and traffic jams always take place, especially during peak hours. Thus, I’d prefer to take the bus, to save time, save gasoline and causing less pollution.
Can you compare the advantages of planes and trains?
Planes and trains regularly depart and arrive on time. Plus, there are many convenient facilities catering particularly to certain groups of passengers. However, traveling by plane is clearly time-saving and enjoyable in terms of on-board services like meals or comfortable seats, while traveling by train offers you a chance to see the world outside, admire the views from their seats. It’s totally a great experience for most train-travelers.
How much time do you spend travelling on a normal day?
I have to commute from my home to my workplace on a daily basis. It normally takes me 30 minutes to travel back and forth.
Would you ride bikes to work in the future?
Definitely not. Riding a bike means you’re exposing yourself to the unpredictable weather and to air pollution. What is worse, I’m afraid the main streets or the highway are too dangerous for cyclists, as cars, motorbikes and buses will travel at a very high speed. Thus I’d rather ride a motorbike or take the bus instead.
What will become the most popular means of transport in your country?
I think buses will take the lead. You can travel the distance without much worries about ticket price or rainy weather outside. Also new buses now offer better services like comfortable seats for the elderly or good air conditioning systems.
Do you prefer public transport or private transport?
I think I’d prefer public transport. It’s much more inexpensive and because it can contain a large number of people, it helps ease the intensity of traffic jams during peak hours and reduce the greenhouse gas emissions caused by vehicles. Private transportation is more costly in terms of fees, taxes and gasoline.
PART – 2 CUE CARD
Describe a wedding that you have attended.

SAMPLE ANSWER: –
Today, I’m gonna share with you a wedding of my friend that I attended. Last month, I received a wedding invitation from my old friend from primary school. The wedding was held at the beginning of April. We have been close to each other for over 15 years, therefore, I definitely wanted to attend at all costs, due to the fact that we hadn’t had a chance to get together for ages.
Her wedding ceremony took place at The Sum Villa, located near my home in the heart of my city. It was decorated impressively with a lot of lights, candles and flowers around the room. There were three glamorous wedding photo albums, showing tables right at the centre of the official gate. The principal colours were likely to be white and violet, so all the guests were requested to wear clothes with one or both of these colours. Personally, I wore a white dress with small accessories.
It was meant to be a casual wedding, which I had never attended before. It turned out to be refreshingly informal. One of the best moments that really touched me was when the bridegroom sang a song for the bride and all the guests sang along with him. Also, he made a photo clip by himself marking their 4-year romance, to show to everyone in the room. It was no surprise that everyone clapped their hands and cheered them. Of course, I was no exception.
It was also a good chance to catch up with my old friends and we all had a great time. We definitely made the most of the occasion and took a lot of pictures with the bride and the bridegroom. I gave my friend a gift to celebrate her wedding day. I had given much thought to my wedding present when I was choosing it, and I wished her lots of happiness for the future.
PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
If you are 35 years old without marriage, do you still waiting for your true love? Why?
I would say it might be the case since I’d prefer to stay single rather than end up with the wrong person. It is not a surprise, I believe, because there are plenty of people who still enjoy their every moment without a life partner. On the one hand, the number of divorces or unhappy marriages have been increasing tremendously over the years and its consequences are upsetting such as dysfunctional family, domestic violence, child neglect and the list could go on. On the other hand, people can find happiness in different places and activities without committing their life to one particular person, especially those who aren’t worth it. Therefore, I wouldn’t settle for anything less than what I deserve.
Who will pay for the wedding cost? Man or woman or both? Why?
Budget planning for weddings can be an extreme headache and deciding who pays what might not be easy since there are tons of expenses to cover such as the rings, floral arrangements, honeymoon and so on. Hence, I believe depending on each couple’s financial status, they should carefully discuss and choose a cost-splitting option that works best for them. For example, if both are financially abundant, they can share the cost equally. Otherwise, one who is more well-off can cover a greater portion of the expense.
What do you think is the best age to marry?
I don’t believe that there is a right time for anything, marriage included. It’s more about the maturity of the two people than the age itself, I think. People mature at different rates, physically and emotionally, and not until after they can fully acknowledge their life issues and handle them with rationale and thorough consideration, are they ready to get settled and find happiness in their marriage life. Besides, financial situation also plays a significant part in this once-in-a-lifetime decision. Many divorces have been directly resulted from the lack of money or financial insecurity. Therefore, only when people can fully support themselves, should they consider starting a family.
In a traditional family in your country, what male do in the family? And what about female? Why?
It comes as no surprise that women are still responsible for most of the housework in a family, traditional or not. Even though gender equality is actively promoted in modern society, there is still an imbalance in household chores division. Housewives take care of almost everything from cooking, laundering, dish washing to house cleaning while their husbands are only concerned with some hard work occasionally such as mending pipes or gardening.
