PART – 1 INTRO PART

What is your full name?

My name is Manmehar Kaur.

How may I address you?

You may address me as Manmehar.

May I see your ID?

Sure, here it is.

How often do you like to hang out with friends?

I hang out with my friends from time to time. Normally if we have lots of time on the weekends, we will go to the cinema to watch movies to have a good time. We might also have dinner together in a restaurant if we have the time.

Who do you usually like to hang out with?

Usually I like to hang out with one of my close friends. Actually we live in the same community so we can meet frequently. Also, both of our kids are in the same class in kindergarten, so we like to take them to the park or playground together.

Where do you like to go when you hang out with your friends?

Well, that depends. We sometimes go to a restaurant to enjoy tasty food if someone knows a decent place. Also if we have plenty of time we like to plan a hike or camp in a nearby forest park to enjoy outdoor life. That would be a very memorable experience.

Do you like to go out with a big group or just few friends?

Well, if I had to choose between the two, I would probably go with hanging out with a big group people because I think that I am an extrovert. I like to meet different people to know about different kinds of life and make myself more sociable: whereas, you know, with only a few people around, it would be hard to find something interesting to do, such as travelling, hiking, etc.

Why do people care too much about money?

I think the reason is simply because money equals power. The more money you have, the more things you can do, the more influence you have over people. No one refuses power so that’s why they give priority to money.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Well, I’m a sports person and my favourite sport is Basketball. I’ve played it a lot in my school as well as in my college days. Apart from it, I also like to play video games. In 2020 I played PubG the most. However, here I would like to talk about a game that I’m playing from my childhood.

The name of the game Is Ludo_ When I was a kid at that time there were 2 ways to play this game. One is on physical board and second is on mobile phone.

Recently, during the Lockdown this is a game which was played the most in all over India Honestly, it was after a long time when I played it as my cousin sent link and asked me to download it.

This game is really enjoyable as a person can play individually as well as with friends sitting far. Moreover, a person can also send funny emoji’s which are available to express emotions.

Now, whenever I get free time or If I have to wait for someone I just start playing this game alone. I must say that this game is like kiIhng 2 birds with one stone as it is I think a best way to get rid of stress and secondly a person can also make new friends by this.

So, this is a game that I love to play since my childhood.

PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS

What is the impact of teen addiction to games?

I think there are both positive and negative impacts of video games on teenagers. The positive part is that it helps them to relax and take out the stress from their studies. Also, to some extent, it aids in the development of creative or problem-solving skills. On the contrary, gaming is easily addictive and too much of it can be detrimental for their health and education. Finally, the violent content in some games could promote violent behaviour amongst children.

Should parents or teachers take necessary action to prevent children from playing games?

I do not think that parents should stop children from playing computer games, but I believe that it is important for them to supervise the gaming habits of their children. They should monitor the number of hours and type of games being played by the children. If the child is getting addicted to gaming then they should counsel him/her.

What do you think are the benefits of playing games?

Like I mentioned before, gaming helps in a lot of ways. First of all, it helps in the development of logical reasoning when children try to solve the challenges in different levels of the game. Secondly, it promotes creativity amongst children as most of the games are based on imaginary concepts and the characters in these games are able to do things that would be otherwise impossible in the real world. So, I think it kind of helps in developing out-of-the-box thinking.
