What is your full name?
My name is John Denver.
Can I see your id?
Of course, here it is.
Where are you from?
I’m born and brought up in Baroda.
Do you work or study?
I am in the final year of my Bachelor of Business Administration.
Do you enjoy watching sports?
Yes, I love watching football, tennis and cricket. Not only watching sports but if I’ve a choice or an opportunity, I would love playing them all. I have grown up playing games in my life and I cannot wait to seize an opportunity.
What kinds of games do you play?
We played many types of games. Some of them are playing interactive games on Xbox with friends, and playing some games online in the group through Facebook. One game I remember that interested me a lot when I was a kid. I played billiards at YMCA Club. I remember I was at club the whole day during the vacation and played billiards profusely. I played so much that I almost became a professional player-pun intended.

– How you found out about it.
– What it is about and explain why it is interesting to you
SAMPLE ANSWER
The interesting song that I can recount (=tell) is ‘Summer of 69’ by Bryan Adams. It’s a very popular song in the world, and one of those kinds of songs that interests all genres (=category, class). No surprise, this song won every award possible in the world. It’s composed during 80’s but it’s yet a favorite number of mine and soothing to listen to it.
At school, we had a rock band, and every year we needed to complete with other bands. There were couples of common songs which were played more often by all music bands. ‘Summers of 69’ was one among them. No doubt, rock music is almost obsolete(=outdated) to the existing generation but popularity in general hasn’t died down. I hope it won’t even in the future.
It’s the song that takes the singer back to his school time, how they had enjoyed their time and fun, how mischievously they teased and harassed others, how life departed them and others things like that. The singer misses his best days of life. When you listen to this song, it really takes you to your flashback and you start relating to this song. I guess anybody who would listen to this song will definitely miss his old beautiful days of school.
PART – 3 DISCUSSION
Do you like music?
Yes, I like it very much but these days I hardly have any time to enjoy it thoroughly. We used to have music classes when we were in school. I studied throughout the convent school so there’s a culture of supporting those kids who had a special talent in any department t of music. Our principal himself was an adorable guitarist and I remember if any guitarist didn’t play it properly, he used to get annoyed profusely and said, “ kids, if you want your band to be successful, your guitarist must be powerful or you’ll face a booing crowd for sure.” I guess he was always right in his statement about this.
What kind of music do you like?
I love soft instrumental, pop and rock music. Once a while, I wouldn’t mind listening to hip hop and house music, too. My school always focused on honing the skills of music, and we grew up singing or enjoying pop and rock music mainly. So, I would term myself as a rock music guy because I could relate my natural preference to it.
When do you usually listen to music?
First thing first, it must allow me to have some time to enjoy. When I get pissed off with my studying, I switch to listen music of my genre. That relaxes and comfort me. On Saturday’s, when I go to gaming zone with my friends, music is always all around. The usage of music becomes important when there’s a short or long travelling. It helps pass time with ease. Otherwise, travelling becomes cumbersome (=complicated, complex) without it. Apart from these reasons, whenever I want to unwind myself, I listen to it. For that, there’s no particular pre-decided time.
What kind of music did you like when you were young?
When I was young – obviously you don’t have much sensibility or reasons for liking some things in particular and music one of them- liked to listen to more of hip-hp and house music. But gradually I started liking other genres of music such as rock and pop music. ‘Eminem,’ ‘Usher’ and ’50 cent’ were the super-duper hit during that time, and obviously they were the first choice of mine too.
What kind of music popular in your country?
Well, in my country, I doubt that people like much of western music. They love to listen to Hindi music. Bhangra is also very popular in the northern, western and mid part of India. The classical music has always had a different kind of charm for music lovers, and it’s a common sight to see people enjoying it.
Do you play any musical instruments?
No, I don’t play any musical instrument. I always wanted to play the guitar but never tried, my fingers on it. I remember once I tried drumming when I was 12. I sat with a few amateurs who were just like me and learning drumming but for some reason, I couldn’t continue any longer.
Which is your favorite instrument?
The guitar for no doubt! The six strings when strummed generate mind blowing music. I remember my younger brother who is an exceptional guitarist would play air guitar to Van Halen songs. He would spend time strumming his acoustic guitar and always try to add to ambience in the evening. I wish I too could have been a rancher in my town, plucking a guitar on my porch as the sun goes down.
